Some of the Princess's letters (47396, f. 142; 47397, ff. 205-269 passim; 47398, ff. 124 b, 131, 151 b) contain messages originally written in invisible ink, and show signs of scorching; passages in other letters of hers have been marked or cancelled in pencil. At 47406, f. 96, is a copy, annotated in French, of the letter at f. 94 made perhaps by Ernest Daudet. Twelve volumes.
