Concerning a remonstrance made by the Commissioner in the Tenasserim Provinces with the Court of Siam against restrictions placed by the Siamese authorities on free intercourse with British territories, also respecting the depredations of Malay Pirates in the Pakchan river and its vicinity.
Communication from Captain Durand containing a brief account of the Lampi Salones and submitting three copies of a small primer in the language of these people, prepared by W. Brayton of the American Baptist Mission. A copy of the primer and of the Commissioner's report was furnished to the Asiatic Society.
