3. "Musica de Sancta Magdalena." Inc. "Felix Magdalene cantandi prominet arte." fo. 50.
Scope & Content:
This short work, in hexameter verses, contains a mystical gamut in which all musical perfection is said to he concealed. It was composed, if we are to believe the author of the verses, by Mary Magdalen herself. The writer appears to have been one Kendall, a monk of Sherborne.
