Title:
Sir William Foster's cravats and cravat fastener
Scope & Content:
Two maroon cravats, a navy blue cravat. and a cravat fastener or band worn by Sir William Foster at Hakluyt Society meetings. Items were also worn by Lady Foster, and bequeathed to the Hakluyt Society after her death. Also includes three letters dated 1969 and 1984 relating to the bequest.
