The document comprises copies of the indenture which delineated the foundation of Clive's fund, making provision for injured members of the Company army, their widows and children; the general regulations for transacting the business of the fund and instructions for the pensioners.

Two copies. Both have been annotated, the first (ff.1-12) more extensively than the second (ff.13-24). The first copy's annotations are certainly in Clive's hand, the other is possibly a different hand.
