Inscription: Signed in the negative, '262/11 Stretton.' Genre: Portrait Photography General view of the equestrian statue of Lord Mayo, Viceroy of India 1869-72, by the Thornycroft brothers. The statue was unveiled in Calcutta on 31 December 1875. It was removed to Barrackpore in 1974.
