Inventory of jewels bequeathed to Edward Clive, 1st Earl of Powis. The inventory was clearly made by Robert Clive's executors since there is a declaration of receipt, albeit not signed by Clive.

In the past the document has been badly affected by damp. This has been consolidated but has obliterated the left hand side of the first folio and also affects the other folio.

Each list is dated and most give the name of the ship or bearer, some include the name of the ship's captain. Several lists exist in duplicate, while others are marked 'duplicate'.
A fair copy of observations by Clive upon the treaty with Shuja ud-Daula and outlining future events. This text does not incorporate the changes made to the draft.
