Draft observation upon the threats posed to the maintenance of the British position in India, with particular emphasis upon disarmament. The document also includes a list of potential concessions that could be made.

Copy of a translation of an account of the sums of money received by Mr Johnstone between 1762 and the beginning of 1765.
Scope & Content:
The account was sworn as a faithful translation before H. Verelst. The sums are described as "ready money"; there is no indication of currency. According to a note, the original was in Amir Chand's handwriting.
Copy of a minute made in Committee by W.B. Sumner on 20 December 1765.
Scope & Content:
Sumner was replying to Clive's observations about the charges in the collection of the revenues of the Calcutta lands. Includes a statement of the charges between 1762 and 1764.
