Copy of a letter from c Sayer to an unnamed recipient, probably the Court of Directors, dated 16 November 1766.
Scope & Content:
The letter is the author's opinion upon the Inland Trade and further gives his opinion upon the advisability of engaging in legal action against company servants engaging in such trade.
Minutes of General Courts of the Company, many of which were held to discuss the state of the Company's affairs in India, between 27 February and 2 May 1764.
Scope & Content:
One of the consequences of these meetings was Clive's final sojourn in India. The minutes record the text of letters received by the Council, the results of ballots and resolutions passed.
