A table containing an alphabetical list of geographical features of Bengal, together with their mode of surveying and the surname of the surveyor or other source of information. The list also contains a list of places whose latitudes have been recorded.
The list gives the date and place of writing and the mode of transport back to Britain. The list was created by Mr Strachey. The letters listed were written between 4 October 1764 and 4 February 1766.
