The letters are dated between 5 June 1765 and 4 July 1766. The list gives the dates and places of writing the letters and in some cases an indication of the letter's content.

The difference concerned whether the penalty of the President and Committee and the Committee of Trade was reciprocal. The text has been amended and may be in Clive's hand.
"Mahomed Ally's Agreement for the Discharge of his Debt". The document was created by Muhammad Ali Khan Walahjah, Nawab of Arcot and his son Umdat al-Umara.

The document appoints John Pybus, Sir John Call and James Bouchier the managers of his affairs for the repayment of a sum of 2,500,000 Madras Pagodas. He assigns income from several districts including Wandiwash and Volgondah and the tribute he is owed annually by the Raja of Tanjore for the paym...
Copy of certificates stating that Mr Anthony Hartley served as a volunteer at the siege of Havana and that he was given an Ensigncy of Foot in recognition of his behaviour.

The certificates were signed by William Howe, 5th Viscount Howe and George Keppel, 3rd Earl of Albemarle.
Copy of the case submitted for the opinion of the Alexander Wedderburn, 1st Earl of Rosslyn, Solicitor General, with a copy of his opinion and that of Prime Sergeant Stannard.

The case concerns the private trading activities of a Company Servant, referred to only as 'A' and the changes to the Inland Trade instituted by Clive. Wedderburn's opinion is dated 23 May 1772.
