Letter 47 George Clifford & Sons, Amsterdam to Robert James enclosing the particulars of cargoes of nine homeward bound Dutch East India Company Ships
Scope & Content:
ff. 121-123 contain the particulars, in Dutch and French, of the cargoes of the Lapienenburg, Keukenhoff, Tulpenburg, Zuydbeveland, D'Admiral de Ruyter, 's Gravenzande, De Vrouwe Elizabeth, Lycochton and De Baarzande.
Letter 93 William Wood at the Customs House in London to Robert James stating that the Commissioners of the Customs will not insist on the stipulations outlined in their minute dated 29 March 1757.
Letter 221 Duplicate of a general letter from Company employees at Fort St David to the Court regarding the acts of hostility being committed by the French Company's Governor of Pondicherry, Monsieur Duplieux, against the English.
Scope & Content:
The letter was sent from Fort St David 18 October 1749 and received by the ship Royal George 10 May 1750.
Letter 166 Hyde, Leeds and Lawson, Cornhill to the Court summarising a letter from their correspondent at St Malo regarding money to be delivered to Monsieur de la Bouesiere de Bois Rollans in Canton
