Sketches, the majority of which are of people and animals drawn by Hughes on loose sheets of paper and in sketchbooks. These include a sheet of what appear to be aztec symbols and numerous sketches of a bull, which appear to be versions of the sketch included on the front cover of 'Moortown Diary...
Printed paperback edition of poetry collection and three undated loose leaf typewritten copies of the poems, 'Pike', 'Esther's Tomcat' and 'Dick Straightup'.
Partly typewritten and partly autograph, contains a typewritten draft of Hughes's version of Frank Wedekind's play Frühlings Erwachen, which was originally written in 1909, with autograph annotations and a 'fragment' of the play (as described in note by Hughes attached).
