Kanada Ragini. A seated prince, acclaimed by courtiers, holds the gold-banded tusk of an elephant which is lying in the foreground. See Gangoly (1935), II, pl.L for a slightly different Sanskrit description.
Desi Ragini. The ‘nayika,’ kneeling at the head of the couch on which her lover lies, rouses him from pretended sleep. See Gangoly (1935), II, pl.XLIII for the Sanskrit description.
Kamoda Ragini. The ‘nayika’ walks in a woodland glade, showing distress at the voice of a cuckoo perched in a tree. See Gangolv (1935), II, pl.XLIX for the Sanskrit description.
Vasanta Ragini. Krishna stands in a flowery meadow holding flower-sprays in each hand, wearing a yellow garment and peacock-feather crown. Reverse: Braj Bhasha verse in ‘nasta‘liq.’ See Gangoly (1935), II, pl.LX for the Sanskrit description.
Bhairava Raga. Bhairava sits on an elephant-skin upon a rocky hillock with the Ganges issuing from the coil of his hair. The bull Nandi is in the foreground. Reverse: verse in ‘nasta‘liq.’ Reproduced: Ebeling (1973), 216, fig.124.
Madhyamadi Ragini. Lovers stand and embrace in a palace chamber. The girl has a golden face and body in literal agreement with the Sanskrit phrase ‘(svarna-chavi).’
Saindhavi Ragini. A girl kneels before a shrine to Siva, offering red flowers. (The trident mentioned in the verse is not shown.). See Gangoly (1935), II, pl.XIII for the Sanskrit description.
Malkos Raga. Malkos, shown as a warrior with ruddy complexion, stands holding a large staff in addition to his sword and shield. He is flanked by four minor warriors. See Gangoly (1935), II, pl.XIV for the Sanskrit description.
