Statement for an Account between Clive and James Repington.
Scope & Content:
Dated at Trivady. Repington seems to be an intermediary, the account recording sums given to and received from men including John Call, Major Lawrence, Mr Merigeot and Mr Woodford. Accounts for November 1752, February, March and August 1753.
Account Statements for the Owners of the Speedwell ketch (Robert Clive and Robert Orme, co-owners).
Scope & Content:
The accounts are for May and August 1751, January 1752 and September 1761; the account for 1761 contains entries for both 1751 and 1761, perhaps suggesting that this was a final winding-up of accounts respecting the ship.
