Pencilled notes on the backs identify the designers as 'L.L.B' (no. 9), E[dward] E[arle] D[orling] (nos. 10, 11), [George Edward] K[ruger] G[ray] (nos. 13, 14, 16), and H[arold] S[tabler] (no. 15). The engravers are similarly identified as [? Robert J.] Richardson (nos. 9, 10, 12, 15(?)) and [George Taylor] Friend (nos. 11, 13(?), 14, 16). Transferred from the Department of Coins and Medals.
