‘Cheem-lo-kong Sheun. This is one of the first rate Chinese vessels, some of which are said to carry above a thousand tons. Commonly used to carry presents to the Emperor from different parts of the Country’. Inscribed: ‘Tribute boats from Siam.’
‘Pac-yeem-Sheun. A kind of boat, of which some are large, used to carry Salt from different parts of the Coast. The Chinese name literally signifies White Salt Boat.
‘Tic-Sheac-Sheun. Large and strong built boat used for carrying stones for building. Literally a large stone boat’. Inscribed: ‘Boat for transporting worked blocks of stone.’
‘Tie-too-Sheun. A Passage Boat. A kind of large boat employed for carrying passengers from one part of the country to another. Inscribed: ‘Night ferry.’
