Air mail cover dated 11 January 1937 to Gibraltar, censored at Valencia. From a Republican unit at Alora. Cover has handstamp of 'Columna Ascaso, FIJL, CNT, FAI.' Routing by rail to Valencia, air to Tangier. Various TPO marks and transit cancels.

Registered cover to London, 14 January 1939. 1p 40 worht of unoverprinted stamps. Three censor markings- Malaga, figure '98' on back and 'Entrada' which was added to letters as they arrived at the Malaga censorship office.
