Typescript of text for performance, labelled 'Script from Dr Czech [of the International Copyright Bureau] - on loan. Completely clean copy of second version'. With annotations in two different hands [one being Maeve Gilmore?]. Annotations mostly relate to the part of Dr Willy.
Lacking the end of Act III. Inscribed ‘I, Drayton Gardens’. Stamp for David Higham Associates Ltd has been crossed through. Loose front sheet inscribed in Maeve Gilmore’s hand in red ink, ‘This play was written between 1957 and 1959 – unpublished and unperformed’.
Comprises summary of Act II and synopsis for Act III. There are many drawings of fantastical figures at the back of the volume. Revisions to the text would suggest that this is a later draft than Add MS 88931/3/1/12. Undated.
