The one to the right (512) is a portrait of a Roman, commonly called Cajus Marius; in the centre (513), a bust of a female; on the left (513A), the head of Venus, found in a drain in the Thermae of Diocletian in the year 1803.'

Not of first-rate style, but very valuable, as that emperor's statues were all destroyed by order of the Senate. The head has been replaced, and the right arm and left hand restored.'
