Ananda Ramayana is traditionally ascribed to the Sage Valmiki. It narrates the story of Rama. The unique feature of this work is that it includes Ravana's abduction of Kausalya, the mother of Rama.
The Viṣṇupurāṇa is considered one of the most important puranas and includes various avataras of Lord Vishnu and the life of his complete incarnation, Krishna.
