Interviewed by Harvinder Singh Giri on 6th June 1972. Dukhbhanjan Singh was in the Indian Army from 1916 to 1934, and was in the Central India Horse, Regiment No.2. He served in France, Belgium, Egypt and Turkey (Gallipoli) during the First World War.

Interviewed by Harvinder Singh Giri on 27th May 1972. Arjan Singh joined the Patiala State Force in 1903, and was in the 1st Rajindra Lancers. He served in Mesopotamia and Egypt in the First World War. He left the army in 1924.

Interviewed by Harvinder Singh Giri on 8th May 1972. Sant Surjan Singh was in the Patiala State Force from 1912 to 1923, with the 1st Lancers Patiala. He served in Egypt and Mesopotamia in the First World War. He also served in the Afghan War in 1919.

Interviewed by Harvinder Singh Giri on 28th May 1972. Hardit Singh was in the Indian Army from 1911 to 1946, and was in the 36th Sikh Regiment. He served in Mesopotamia and Egypt in the First World War. He was captured and sent to Germany as a prisoner of war.
