Gujari (or Daksina-Gujari) Ragini. A girl sits on a couch strewn with flowers holding a ‘vina’ with one hand and putting the other to her ear (indicating her ability to distinguish notes and quarter-tones). See Gangoly (1935), II, pl.LXXIV for the Sanskrit description.
Setmalar Ragini. An ascetic with a long beard and blue skin sits on a leopard-skin holding a rosary between trees and with a doorway behind with wall-decorations representing yogis. Rain is falling. Inscribed on reverse in Persian: ‘Ragini Bhairon.’ 156 by 117 mm.
Varari Ragini. Two lovers are seated on a bed, the lady is waving a cloth while the man touches her breast. A maid is waving a ‘chauri’ on the right. Identified in Hindi: ‘Varari Ragini’ and numbered ‘23’; on reverse in Persian: ‘Ragini Bairari.’
Bhairava Raga. A lord seated with a consort puts a hand upon her breast. Four other girls are in attendance with ‘chauris’ and sandal paste, which is being prepared in the. foreground. Identified in Hindi: ‘Bhairavi Raga’ and numbered ‘1’.
Vilavali Ragini. A lady seated on a bed performs her toilet before a mirror held by a maid. A second maid waves a ‘chauri’ and two cockerels are in the foreground. Identified in Hindi: ‘Vilavali Ragini’ and numbered ‘14’; on reverse in Persian: ‘Ragini...’ (defaced).
Malavi Ragini. A lover embraces his lady as they walk towards a bed-chamber. There are trees on the left. Inscribed on reverse in Persian: ‘Desi Ragini.’ 155 by 117 mm.
