Barrington Papers. Vols. ccxix-ccxx. These volumes contain correspondence relating to diplomatic affairs involving Sir Robert Adair, diplomatist. Consequently, they bear little relevance to the rest of the collection. It is possible that they came to the Barrington family via Elizabeth Barrington, née Adair, wife of Rev. George Barrington, later 5th Viscount Barrington, or her descendents. Two volumes.
