Muhammad Hanif, formerly Munshi to the Poona Residency, is granted a jagir in the Deccan worth 10,000 rupees 'per annum' - a pension of 1200 rupees 'per annum' is granted to Ram Rao, who had acted as War Amaldar to Sir Thomas Munro during the Maratha War of 1817-18.
A register of jagirs and other lands which have been partly or wholly resumed by the Bombay Government, is forwarded to London (includes a copy of the register, pp 4-5).
