- A letter of Chaereas, strategus of the Oxyrhynchite nome, to Tyrannus, administrator, requesting him to write a list of arrears in wheat and money, the payment of which should be demanded, according to Severus’ instructions. He mentions that he will be visiting soon. The address is on the back.

Papyrus sheet, light-brown by patches, complete but damaged by holes throughout and with some abrasion. Writing runs along the fibres on both sides, the back having a one-line docket located at the bottom. The front has one column; all margins are extant, with the blank space at the bottom measuring 75 mm. Modern annotations were made on either side; the number in red refers to the publication in P.Oxy. II. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.
