- Letter of the governor Qurrah ben Sharik to Basilius, pagarch of Aphrodito, instructing him to send wood for the refitting of the ships in the island of Babylon and receive the acquittances. The account of the articles required follows and includes cloven palm-trunks and fig-trunks.

- Right-hand portion of a medium-brown papyrus roll, broken off at the top, complete at the bottom and right; written on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are the ends of 16 lines written across the fibres. The lower margin is extant; no margin was left on the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
