Inscribed in pencil on verso: '20 April 1840/ Venus'. A photogenic camera negative of a head-on view of the bust of Venus, most of the image has been lost apart from a section of the chest and plinth. This negative is particularly light sensitive and should not be viewed under normal light levels.
