EVELYN WAUGH CORRESPONDENCE: letters from Evelyn Waugh (b.1903, d.1966) to Lady Diana Cooper; 1932-1966, n.d. Followed (Add. 69798 ff. 117, 118) by two letters from his daughter, Margaret, and his wife, Laura, written shortly after his death. For further Waugh material, see Add. 63341. Eleven of these letters were printed in M. Amory (ed.), The Letters of Evelyn Waugh (1980), at which time the majority were believed to have been lost. All have now been published in Artemis Cooper (ed.), Mr Wu and Mrs Stitch: The Letters of Evelyn Waugh and Diana Cooper (1991). See also C. Sykes, Evelyn Waugh: a Biography (1975).
