The authorship of the first portion, " Des voeux du Paon," is usually ascribed to Jacques de Longuyon, and of the second portion, generally intitled " Du restor du Paon," to Jean Brisebarre. The whole work forms a brancli of the "Roman d'Alexandre." At the end is written, "Explicit du Paon; bien ait qui le lire." On vellum, xivth cent. ; ornamented with two miniatures, rudely executed. Octavo. [16,888.]
