This collection consists of audio recordings of performances, songs, poetry and interviews regarding the traditions and festivities related to May and the Epiphany, audio visual recordings of May celebrations and images of both Epiphany and May celebrations in the Province of Grosseto in Tuscany. The audio recordings include recordings of outdoor performances and recordings taken inside people’s homes.

It is interested in popular religious and cultural traditions such as “maggiolata”, “befanata”, religious celebrations, aspects of material culture, stories, poetry and song.
