This fonds consists of digital copies of part of Arman Estepanian's photographic collection, roughly dating from the period of Qajar rule in Iran (c 1880-1925). The photographs were digitised as part of the project EAP001 Faces and Places in Iran: Iranian Photography at the Turn of the 20th Century, during a visit to his home.
These digitised images are a small sample taken from Arman Estepanian's collection, which is estimated to contain over 200 photographs. The photographs have been attributed to several unidentified photographers, and Mirza Abdollah Qajar.
