This fonds contains digital images of a sample of the photographic collection owned by the Khalifa Council in Arak, Iran. The copies were made as part of the project EAP001 Faces and Places in Iran: Iranian Photography at the Turn of the 20th Century.
The full collection consists of approximately 50 photographs of Armenian Families taken between 1915 and 1956. Unfortunately, information about the provenance, context and subjects of many of the photographs is unknown, and so the information in this catalogue is necessarily incomplete.
