This fonds consists of digital images of one manuscript held by Ampon Hasballah at Dayah Tanoh, Pidie regency, Indonesia. The manuscripts from the collection cover a range of topics, including Islamic law, Sufism, history, invocation and Sarakata. The collection dates from approximately 1600-1900, and was inherited by Ampon Hasballah.

- Manuscript EAP229/1/1 was created as part of the pilot project EAP229 Acehnese manuscripts in danger of extinction: identifying and preserving the private collections located in Pidie and Aceh Besar regencies. The rest of the collection was digitised in the follow-up major project EAP329 Acehnese manuscripts in danger of extinction: identifying and preserving the private collections located in Pidie and Aceh Besar regencies.

- Materials in this fonds was selected for digitisation by the EAP229 and EAP329 projects.
- Administrative Context:
- EAP229 and EAP329 were funded by the Endangered Archives Programme. The pilot project produced a survey of manuscripts held by private individuals throughout the Pidie and Aceh Besar regencies and a sample of digitised manuscripts. The EAP329 project built on this information to digitise more materials.
