- The digital images in this collection were created as part of the EAP071 Archiving Texts in the Sylhét Nāgri Script project. The originals were collected by Professor Āsāddar Āli of Sylhét, Bāmlādes. At time of writing, they are held by his family.

- Received from Professor Anuradha Chanda, January and March 2008 (Accession Records EAP071/1 and EAP071/2).
- Appraisal:
- Material in this Collection was selected for digitisation by the EAP071 project.
- Administrative Context:
- EAP071 was funded by the Endangered Archives Programme. The project located and digitally copied 68 texts from 29 Collections in the sylhet nagri script through field trips in the districts of Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi in south Assam and Dharmanagar and Tripura near Silchar.
