- This Collection comprises digital copies of one text, copied as part of the EAP071 Archiving Texts in Sylhét Nāgri Script project. The text has been copied from an original printed volume of the Hālatunnabi, a life of the Prophet. The original volume is dated to 1906 (1313 Bengali Era) and is written in Bengali, in the Sylhét Nāgri script.

The digital images in this collection were created as part of the EAP071 Archiving Texts in Sylhét Nāgri Script project. At this time the original volume was held by Isbar Āli Majumdār of East Kanakpur (Subhāsnagar), Cāchār, Āssām, who inherited the text from his father the late Makbar Āli Majumdār, who in turn had inherited it from his father the late Dinu Miyā Majumdār. The text was collected for copying courtesy of Ābid Rājā Majumdār.

- Material in this Collection was selected for digitisation by the EAP071 project.
- Administrative Context:
- EAP071 was funded by the Endangered Archives Programme. The project located and digitally copied 68 texts from 29 Collections in the sylhet nagri script through field trips in the districts of Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi in south Assam and Dharmanagar and Tripura near Silchar.
