Drawings based on the Chinese zodiac, which relates each lunar month to the animals of the 12-year-cycle and their reputed attributes (earth, wood, fire, iron, water) as well as a male or female avatar (yin-yang), a plant and a number diagram. Also includes descriptions of lucky and unlucky combinations of couples and how to use the match making method of the "entwined Naga". Explanation of the method of calculating the right directions for building a new house using the "rotating Naga", explanation of lucky and unlucky shpaes of land plots. Used as a manual for fortune telling and divination.
Colophon on fol. 1 mentions that the manuscript was commissioned by "Nai French" (Mr French).

- Custodial History:
- "Pres. by Ernest M. Satow Esq. Bes. & Min. at Bancock [Bangkok] 25 July 1888". E. H. French, who commissioned the manuscript, was the British consul in Bangkok in the 1880s and 1890s and confidant of Prince Dewawongse, Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs. Sir Ernest Satow was the British Minister in Thailand (Siam).
