Materials: Glossy cream-coloured paper.

Dimensions: 472 mm x 335 mm .

Illustrations: Contains 18 two-page illustrations of buildings, court regalia, musical instruments, furniture etc. used in the ceremony. Pigments used in the paintings are vermillion, carbon, lazurite, lead white, malachite, orpiment, red ochre.

Script: 12 columns per page. Han script. Text borders traced in red lines (346 mm x 273 mm). A red 'fish-tail' has been added.

Binding: Double sheets, folded at the foredge, in side-stitched style. Covers in olive-green silk backed by several sheets of thick paper. Two narrow bronze bands incised with surface decoration of floral scrolls and eight-leafed chrysanthemum blossoms hold the leaves together. The bronze band attached to the front cover has a large bronze ring for handling and lifting. Title strip attached to the top left of front cover
