Foliation: ff 266 (+ 2 unfoliated modern paper flyleaves at the beginning and one paper leaf and 2 flyleaves at the end)
Dimensions: 155 x 100 mm.
Ruling: 90 x 60 mm.
Binding: Half black, 18th century.
Scribe: possibly Νικόλαος Μαλαξός (Repertorium 1A, no. 312).
Decoration: 4 drawings in pen with colour washes of standing Fathers, three holding scrolls: Basil of Caesarea, f 13r; John Chrysostom, f 18v; Gregory of Nazianzus, f 20r; Theodore the Sanctified, f 21v). 7 simple headpieces in brown, with some penwork decoration, the last with a cross (ff 45r, 52r, 129r, 161v, 177v, 189r, 191r). Large initials in brown with penwork decoration. Decorated edges.

Provenance:
Possibly copied by Νικόλαος Μαλαξός (Repertorium 1A, no. 312), who was based in Venice and then in Zakynthos during the second half of the 16th century.

Purchased from Rev. J. C. Jackson, 7 August 1874, using the Farnborough Fund (£3,000 bequeathed in 1838 by Charles Long, Baron Farnborough (b. 1761, d. 1838), a cousin of Francis Henry Egerton, 8th Earl of Bridgewater (b. 1756, d. 1829), founder of the collection.
