Material: Parchment.
Foliation: ff i (paper) + 100 + i + 365 + i (parchment) + i (paper).
Dimensions: 370 x 270 mm.
Ruling: 255 x 90 mm, written in two columns, 24 lines per column.
Binding: later (but pre-1600) binding of wooden boards covered with goatskin, blind-tooled, the edges flush with the leaves and deeply grooved, the upper cover originally having bosses, corner-pieces and a central plaque.
Decoration: Large rectangular headpiece in colours on a gold ground with birds and foliate decoration (f 3r). 4 large rectangular headpieces in red, with interlace or foliate patterns, one also with brown and a cross (f 236r) (ff 38r, 101r, 180r, 236r). Large initials in red with penwork decoration, or in brown with penwork decoration and a bird (f 129v). Simple headpieces in red. Rubrics in gold and red.
