Foliation: ff 468. Three unfoliated modern paper flyleaves at the beginning and four at the end. The pastedowns from the previous binding are preserved, unfoliated. The first is before f 1 (f iv on Digitised Manuscripts). The second is placed after the first unfoliated paper flyleaf at the end of the manuscript (f vi on Digitised Manuscripts).

Binding: Black leather, British Museum, 1967. The old binding, of wooden boards formerly covered with leather, are kept separately under Add MS 28821/1.

Ananias Panteleimon, owned in 1826: inscription (ff 238r-v), έτους 1826 ἀπρηλήου 31 ημέρα σαβατο μας εσκλάβοσαν και μαυληδες μας όντας μας έκλησεν ο αλὶπασας μέσα ης το νησί και εκαθίσαμε κλισμένη ης το ήδηον σεφέρη χρόνου κερόν και μας εβάριγαν με τα τόπια κε κουμπαράδες από το στρούνη κε από την τραπάτοβα ως κε τελος μας επιραν και μαυλίδες ολον το νηση ἀντρες γηνέκες πεδιά κε ημάς εστο ης το μανάστήρη εμένα κε τους πατέρες μου και μοναχούς και καλογριές κε ολι μας ονόματα όλα 28 και όλον το βιόν του μανάστιρίου χαλκομα καντιλια ηκωνες και μας εξαγόρασαν ο ρεσὴθ πασιάς ο σηρασκέρης ὀλους ημάς προς 150 γρόσια τον άνθροπον και ηλθαμεν πήσο ης το ήδιον νιση κε ης το μαναστίρη κε τραβισαμεν βάσανα οπου τίς διηγὴσετε ης αυτίν την σκλαβιάν κε έγραψα δία ενθήμισην. Εύχεστε και μη κάταράστε αδελφή διά τον κίριον. Ἀνάνιἀς ειγούμενος παντελεήμων ο γράψας. και επάθα και την σκλάβιαν μέσα.
