A set of ten wooden tablets, each having from a quarter to a third of its width broken off. Seven of them contain inscriptions, written in ink (in three cases on both sides) on a ground of drab paint; the rest are blank, and one, which formed a cover, has a groove cut in it to hold the reed or stilus. There are eighteen inscriptions in all, varying from six to twenty lines in length, with no line being complete. They record transactions relative to the recovery of debts, arrears of taxes, etc. Most of them contain the name of Panospolis, i.e. Panopolis, now Ekhmin, in the Thebaid, and many also the name of one Aurelius.
