MSS Mus. 88-96. Music manuscripts and papers formerly belonging to the keyboard player and musicologist Lady Jeans (b.1911, d.1993); 18th and 20th centuries. For other music manuscripts owned by Lady Jeans, see Add. 71209 and 71210; further papers and books are now housed at the Royal College of Organists (having previously been held at the University of Reading) and at the Franz Schmidt-Musikschule in Perchtoldsdorf, Austria (under the ownership of the Österreichische Nationalbibiliothek). Received under the terms of the will of Lady Jeans, 22 Feb. 1993, and incorporated May 2001.
