CARTULARY OF NORTH CREAKE ABBEY, CO. NORF.; early 14th cent., with 15th cent. additions. Latin. Containing copies of private deeds and some grants by the Augustinian abbey of North Creake, arranged topographically: Creake, South Creake (ff. 14-29v), Quarles (ff. 43-53v), North Barsham (ff. 54-55), Holkham (ff. 56-63v), Thorp (ff. 64-71v) and Burnham (ff. 72-76v). Including an historical preface (ff. 1-2). Red and blue (f. 35) initials, some embellished with bearded heads, and other rubrication. See G. R. C.
