Warburton, Prince Rupert and the Cavaliers (1849) (see in particular, I, pp. iii-vi and pp. 441-539, and also Add. 46651, ff. 9-10, for the sale of part of the Rupert collection to Richard Bentley in connection with Warburton's book), The Pythouse Papers, ed. W. A. Day (1879), and Patrick Morrah, Prince Rupert of the Rhine (1976), esp. p. 455. Add. 30307 contains another part of the collection. Formerly on deposit at the Wiltshire Record Office. Purchased from Sir Anthony Rumbold through Sotheby's, 3 Sept. 1981.
