The present manuscript is not noted in Brevia Placitata, ed. G. J. Turner, completed by T. F. T. Plunkett, Seldon Society, LXVI (1951). Signature of F. C. Ferris(?) on f. 1. Formerly part of a volume of manuscript fragments in the library of George Dunn, of Woolley Hall, Maidenhead, sold at Sotheby's, 3 Feb. 1914 (lot 1101). Purchased by Robert Gladstone (1886-1940) from Dr Philip Nelson of Liverpool, and bequeathed to the Athenaeum, Liverpool (Gladstone MS. 13). Purchased at Sotheby's, 3 July 1984, lot 48.
