Partly typewritten and signed. Partly copies. Partly French and German. For manuscripts of music by Quilter, see Add. 54208-54210, 54227 E and 65526; for letters from Quilter, see Add. 68943 and 70607 below. Correspondence between Quilter and the Society of Authors is in Add. 63318. The present manuscripts are part of Quilter's personal papers which passed with his estate to the Musicians' Benevolent Fund. Purchased from Richard Macnutt Ltd., Dec. 1986, and incorporated in July 1990.
