Parchment. ff. i + 30. f. i is a modern paper flyleaf, plus an unfoliated modern paper flyleaf after f. i and two at the end; f. 30 is blank). Sec. fol.: ‘that we shul be’. 175 x 125 mm. Three gatherings of 8 leaves (i, ii, iv) and one gathering of six leaves (iii). Ruled and written thirty-one lines to the page, in two columns. Written by two scribes: Scribe 1 (ff. 1-12v) and Scribe 2 (ff. 12v-29). Visible ruling and pricking. Quire signatures and decorated catchwords. Cardboard binding.

1. ff. 1-12v. Dan John Gaytryge's Sermon. (also Gaysteke) IMEV 406. Attendite popule mens legem meus. Now gode men and women as a gret clerk tellyd in his bok […] To the qwiche blisse he us brynge qui cum patre et spiritu sancto viuit et regnat dues in secula seculorum. Explicit constitutum que vocatur ignorancia sacerdotum.
2. ff. 10-12v. Latin Canons of the Council of Lambeth. De informatione simplicium saterdotum. Ignorancia saterdotum populum precipitat in foneam erroris et clericorum […] credimus graciam si ?sintero animo contrahatur [sic]. Explicit constitutio que vocatur igoraticia saterdotum.
3. ff. 12v-29. A Litil Tretys on the Seven Deadly Sins, Richard Lavynham. These thyngis that I have proposyd thorw godys grace to don in this lytyl tretys […] kepe us throw his grace and take oure soulis aftyr oure deth to hys holy place. Amen.
Large initials in red with black pen-flourishing at the beginning of each new section (ff. 1, 10, 13). Red rubrics and paraphs throughout.
