Angus Wilson Photographs: a collection of photographs of Angus Frank Johnstone Wilson, author (b.1913, d.1991), his family, friends, cats, home and travels; 1883-1999, n.d. Mostly colour or monochrome prints, partly annotated by Anthony Garrett. The first eighteen volumes are albums of varied content, without captions except where otherwise indicated. The unmounted photographs in Add. 83718-83728 duplicate in part those in the albums, but many bear identifications and dates on the reverse. Over fifty of the photographs in the collection were published by Margaret Drabble in Angus Wilson, a biography (1995). Supplementing the Angus Wilson Papers in Add. 79507-79516. Presented by Anthony Garrett, 2000-2003.
