Purchased, together with Add. 79517, 79518, 79519 and 79521, through Finarte Semenzato Auction House, Venice, 5 May 2003.
Paper; ff. i + 108 (modern foliation in pencil). 196 x 265mm. Horizontal catchwords on each page. Two 17th-cent. Italian hands. 19th-cent. binding of brown paper on pasteboards.

'Relatione dell' Ill[ustrissi]mo et Ecc[ellentissi]mo Leonardo Moro Ambasciatore Veneto appresso la Maestà Cat[oli]ca l'anno 1627', Relazione of Spain by Leonardo Moro, Venetian Ambassador in Spain, dealing with (a) the territories under the Spanish crown, (b) its revenues and expenditure, (c) its land and sea forces, (d) its government and relations with other princes; [1627]. [italics]Italian. Copy. Inc.[/italics] 'Ser[enissi]mo Pr[inci]pe. 'Instruttione al Card[inale] Ginetti legato per la pace dell' anno 1636', instructions from Cardinal Francesco Barberini to Cardinal Marzio Ginetti, appointed [italics]legatus a latere[/italics] in 1635 to preside over the peace congress at Cologne between France, Spain and Germany, written by Ginetti's secretary Pietro Benessa.
